BALLYSILLAN PRIMARY SCHOOL

Creative Learning Centre

If a child can`t learn the way we teach, maybe we should teach the way they learn.

IGNACIO ESTRADA

Our nursery unit offers your child a wide range of stimulating activities which cover the seven areas of learning in the pre-school curriculum.

The Government’s new 0-6 strategy, “indicates that the first years are the most formative in children’s lives.”

Our nursery’s core purpose is to provide a warm caring atmosphere, where each child can have every opportunity to develop their skills emotionally, socially, physically, intellectually and creatively. This is realised at the pace which each individual child feels comfortable to develop their full potential.

Through activity based play methods, using a variety of good quality materials, your child will be helped to develop many skills and abilities, share experiences and have fun. We believe these factors to be vitally important for your child’s progress, and look forward to sharing them with them and you. This, we can do, with our bright and spacious nursery, our caring qualified staff and our wide range of equipment and resources.

MORE

Ballysillan has the luxury of having its own nursery unit which is the main feeder into the primary school.

Our nursery unit offers your child a wide range of stimulating activities which cover the seven areas of learning in the pre-school curriculum.

We aim to facilitate the development of skills and knowledge through exploration and discovery. Our dedicated staff will ensure that any experiences offered to your child are of the highest possible quality.

In Ballysillan nursery we aim to bring learning to life by providing real and exciting experiences such as trips to the zoo, Streamvale Farm and educational visits from the RSPB.

Our nursery unit is closely linked with the school as our children take part in whole school assemblies, celebrations and plays ultimately preparing them for school life in Ballysillan Primary.
